When someone arrives late and wants to queue, it means that he has learned and accepted the consequences of getting queued back number. Queuing up provides lessons to respect the system, discipline, the rights of others, and the consequences of one's own actions.

Character Education Is The Key

Education is a process of learning knowledge, skills, and various habits that are passed on to the next generation. The character is the personality, character, and individual traits that direct / shape one's habits and beliefs in living life.

So, character education can be interpreted as an educational system that aims to instill character values. These character values contain components of knowledge, awareness / willingness, and actions to apply these values. In other words, character education is an effort made to educate and empower one's potential.

Every child has the potential / talent that must be explored in order to have character and be useful for himself and the environment. In addition, character education also has several functions, including:

  • Developing the basic potential of each child so that they become a good person in their hearts, minds and behavior.
  • Build and strengthen the behavior and character of a multicultural society.
  • Build and help improve a competitive nation civilization in international relations.

Character education is education that aims to build a nation that is strong, has noble character, has morals, tolerance, and mutual cooperation. In Indonesia itself, the Strengthening Character Education (PPK) movement is focused on the five main characters that exist in Pancasila, namely:

  2. Nationalist Character Value: able to think, behave, and act with care, loyalty, and respect for the language, environment, social, culture, and national politics.
  3. Character Value of Integrity: can be trusted in both words and deeds, and has a commitment to morals and human values.
  4. Independent Character Value: able to stand alone and not depend on other people so that they can realize their hopes and dreams.
  5. Mutual Cooperation Character Value: able to behave and behave that values togetherness in a spirit of cooperation and work hand in hand to solve common problems.

Character education is the main key to character building that must be carried out from an early age in the family, school, and environment. Especially in this day and age, without good character education, globalization can have a negative impact on the nation's generation. One of the attitudes that parents can do is to choose the right school for their child.

To help learning and the more optimal application of character education, parents can enroll their children in inclusive schools. This school has an individual learning system so that it can encourage the development of children's potential and talents according to their capacities. Inclusive education is also intended for children with special needs in order to develop their talents.

Every child is born with a unique talent / potential. Parents and educators must help children to develop it.
